Manuscript Review: Line Editing

What I’ll do: I’ll review your manuscript at the language level, editing for clarity, flow, and tone.

What you’ll get: You’ll receive my suggested edits and comments directly within your document using tracked-changes.

Add-ons: For an add-on, I’ll write a feedback letter summarizing my overall observations and style suggestions.

Process: First, fill out the form to tell me a little bit about your project and goals. If it seems like a good fit and I have the capacity to take on your project, I’ll follow up with an estimated time and cost. Then, we’ll go from there!

Rates: I follow the Editorial Freelancers Association’s rates for coaching, line editing, and developmental editing.

Manuscript Review: Developmental Editing

What I’ll do: I’ll review your manuscript as a whole, focusing on elements such as voice, structure, character, setting, and story.

What you’ll get: You’ll receive my comments directly within your manuscript as well as a feedback letter with observations and concrete editorial suggestions.

Add-ons: For an add-on, we can meet virtually or in-person to discuss your feedback letter.

Process: First, fill out the form to tell me a little bit about your project and goals. If it seems like a good fit and I have the capacity to take on your project, I’ll follow up with an estimated time and cost. Then, we’ll go from there!
